Meet Jason
Jason joined the Navy in 2006 right after high school. While he had no intentions of starting a relationship or a family at the time, he met the love of his life 6 months before he left for boot camp. He and his then girlfriend, Alicia, remained committed to each other and married before his first deployment to the Middle East in 2008.
Knowing they wanted to grow a family and he wanted to be a present and involved father, he left the military after his first 4 year commitment and joined law enforcement, which felt like the next most natural step. However, after having their first child in 2012, Jason knew that late night shifts and missing holidays wasn’t what he left the military for. He decided to focus on a trade that would bring them back home, closer to family, and give him the opportunity to be more present.
He joined the local electrical union, worked his way through school and through the ranks. During that time he had the opportunity to work on large commercial projects including Truist Park, Mercedes Benz Stadium, Emory University, Advent Health Gordon hospital, Microsoft Corporate office, Switch data center, Cox Communications and a number of other projects. He also began to expand into residential projects during his free time for friends and family. That is when he realized the dream of branching out on his own. He perused his state license and his business license and from those efforts 575 Electric was born. Jason and Alicia have 3 boys and owning his own business gives Jason the flexibility to coach his boys baseball teams and be involved with his church. He chose the name based on his commitment to his community.
